Chair & Open Table Massage

Available as 30 or 60 minute treatments.

Chair & Open Table Massages offer shorter, fully-clothed sessions designed to provide accessible care in a shorter amount of time. These sessions are wonderful for relieving stress, tension, fatigue, and muscular discomfort while supporting relaxation and nervous system balance.

Perfect for those seeking restorative care during a busy day or as an introduction to bodywork.

Craniosacral Therapy

Available as 60 or 90 minute treatments.  90 minute treatment required for initial appointment.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on method that engages the Craniosacral System: a whole-being system driven by the subtle rhythms and connective tissues surrounding the brain, spine, and nervous system.

Using a light touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, CST releases restrictions in the craniosacral and myofascial systems, which has been shown to improve the functioning of the central nervous system, as well as many other systems of the body, such as digestive, musculoskeletal, respiratory, circulatory, and more.

By facilitating the body's natural and innate healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and has been shown to be beneficial for people seeking help with a wide range of healthcare challenges and symptoms

Sessions are often deeply calming and support people navigating stress, chronic tension, pain, overwhelm, or the physical effects of trauma.

Energy Work

Available as a standalone treatment or can be incorporated into any massage treatment.

Energy work is a grounding and restorative form of care that supports balance and wellbeing by working in the body’s energy field. Sessions may integrate Reiki, Medical Qi Gong, and Sound Healing practices depending on your needs, interests, and intentions.

Reiki is a gentle, calming modality that supports relaxation, energetic balance, and overall wellbeing. Sessions often leave people feeling more grounded, clear, centered, and supported.

Medical Qi Gong is a therapeutic energetic practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine that works with acupuncture meridians and energetic pathways throughout the body to support balance and flow.

Sessions may also incorporate tuning forks, a form of sound therapy that uses vibration and frequency to help regulate and re-tune the body’s energetic field and nervous system.

Energy Work offers a gentle space to slow down, restore, and reconnect with yourself.  Energy work may include stimulation of acupressure points, light touch, or no touch.

These sessions are designed to support relaxation, energetic balance, nervous system regulation, and deeper connection with oneself. Many people leave feeling more centered, clear, grounded, and restored.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Therapies

These complimentary therapies may be incorporated into any massage session to support your care.

Wild Light offers Traditional Chinese Medicine therapies including cupping, moxibustion, and gua sha to support circulation, recovery, energetic balance, and overall wellbeing.  They can be especially supportive for relieving muscular tension, stagnation, stress and pain, while supporting the immune system and recovery.

Cupping uses suction to support circulation, release muscle tension, soften tight fascia, promote healing, and reduce pain. During a session, cups are placed on the skin to create a vacuum effect that lifts and mobilizes the tissues beneath. Temporary markings may appear and last several days after treatment as circulation is brought to the surface and the tissues are stimulated toward renewal and repair.

Gua Sha uses smooth-edged tools and rhythmic strokes along the body to support circulation, release tension, and encourage the movement of stagnation within the tissues.  This therapy can help relieve muscular tightness, promote lymphatic movement, and encourage overall flow within the body. Temporary redness or markings may appear and last several days after treatment as circulation is brought to the surface and the tissues are stimulated toward renewal and repair.

Moxibustion, often called Moxa, is a warming therapy that uses the heat of burning mugwort on specific acupuncture points to support circulation, energy flow, and overall balance within the body.  Moxa is traditionally used to nourish, warm, and strengthen the body while supporting healing and vitality.
